What is Urban Exploring?
Urban exploration is the practice of venturing into man-made structures that are abandoned, hidden, or otherwise off-limits to the general public.
These places can be anything from derelict asylums and crumbling factories to forgotten theme parks, mines, drains, military sites, and much more.
What drives urbex is a deep curiosity and a desire to peel back the layers of a city and uncover the stories buried within its overlooked or decaying structures.
Many of these places sit in plain sight, quietly holding fragments of history and industrial heritage.
For many explorers, the goal is to document these spaces through photography and videography, capturing the strange beauty found in decay and abandonment.
Across my website, you’ll find detailed reports and visual stories from nearly a decade of pursuing this stupid hobby.
