Hanging Flat Mine - Stoney Middleton
This small Derbyshire mine, worked for lead and later fluorspar until 1987, was briefly used for a 1992 "Peak Practice" episode (leaving polystyrene boulders).
Gaewern Slate Mine (The Car Cave) - Wales
A Former slate mine active from 1820 to 1970, is now a flooded "Car Cave" filled with abandoned vehicles and appliances.

A mixed ore mine which exploited the Hucklow edge veins until its closure in 1979.
